An Oregon native, Dr. Elara Vance was born in Coos Bay. She attended the Honors College at Washington State University, went to medical school at the University of Washington, and completed her 5 year ENT residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland. Dr. Elara performed a fellowship (additional intensive training) in Rhinology at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand before beginning her practice in Hood River in 2004. A mother of three, equestrian, and outdoors woman, Dr. Elara understands the issues that Gorge residents experience in a very personal way.

Dr. Elara provides individualized, patient centered ENT, Allergy & sinus care in Hood River and the Oregon and Washington Columbia Gorge, as well as visitors to our community.
